Debbie Silberberg is an accomplished educator and an experienced mixed media and assemblage artist.
She is a vital member in the arts community with notable work as the co-Treasurer of the Nyack Art Collective, and outstanding contributions to the Rockland County Art in Public Places, Rockland Arts Festival, and the Arts Council of Rockland.
"I embrace the opportunity to unearth pieces of discarded lives and create new lives for them.
I believe in giving new life to discarded pieces of material. Using glass, metal, plastic, rock, and wood found in my backyard I create tactual pieces that are enhanced by the needlework taught to me by my grandmother."
